This policy explains what personal data Augustin Holy Shop collects, why, and what rights you have. We are the data controller.

What we collect
- Order data – name, email, delivery and billing address, phone number if given, and what you ordered.
- Account data – if you create an account: your email, password (stored encrypted) and saved addresses.
- Payment data – handled by Stripe or PayPal, depending on the method you choose. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and, for card payments, the last digits and brand of the card. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Reviews – if you leave a product review, the name and content you submit are published.
- Technical data – cookies and similar technology needed to run the basket, checkout and login, plus anything you consent to in the cookie banner.
Why we use it
- To take payment and deliver your order – this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep accounting records – a legal obligation under Swedish bookkeeping rules.
- To answer your emails and handle returns.
- To send you marketing email, only if you signed up for it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, with:
- Stripe – to process card, Klarna and Link payments.
- PayPal – to process PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and European bank-method payments. PayPal acts as an independent controller for the payment itself; its own privacy statement applies at paypal.com/privacy.
- Our supplier and the carriers they use – the delivery details needed to pack and ship your parcel. Our catalogue is fulfilled through CJdropshipping, so orders are passed to them for shipping.
- Our hosting provider – who stores this website and its database on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA; where that happens it is done under the safeguards required by the GDPR.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for seven years, as required by Swedish accounting law. Account data is kept until you ask us to close your account. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased where we are not legally required to keep it, to object to or restrict processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email contact@augustinholy.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
Cookies
Essential cookies keep your basket, checkout and login working; these cannot be switched off. Any non-essential cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. Every cookie this site uses is listed individually, with its purpose and lifetime, on our Cookies Policy page.
